Funders for Maternal Mental Health

In 2023, the new Funders for Maternal Mental Health (FMMH) network will continue to build a strong collaborative of investors committed to advancing maternal mental health policy, programs, and systems. In the interest of furthering existing members’ investment alignment and growing the numbers of investors within the maternal mental health space at large, the group will create opportunities for funders to connect and assist with identifying investment priorities and challenges.

Learnings that emerge throughout this process—particularly regarding investment impact and the ways in which collaboration amongst funders is accelerating progress in the field—will be shared with the philanthropic community through virtual and in-person events and digital or print publications.

About Funders for Maternal Mental Health

Launched in part with seed funding from CHAP, Funders for Maternal Mental Health is an action-focused network of philanthropic organizations with a unified goal of ensuring all mothers and pregnant and parenting people are supported and healthy. Members leverage their resources and cross-systems perspectives to increase access to maternal mental health services. With a deep commitment to justice, Funders for Maternal Mental Health also centers their work on those most impacted by systemic inequities across multiple systems.
