Sabrina Charles is a Program Officer at The Community Health Acceleration Partnership (CHAP), where she focuses on creating stronger public health systems. Sabrina brings a wealth of experience leading and implementing community health worker initiatives and advocating for health equity and justice. 

Prior to her CHAP appointment, Sabrina served as a Project Manager at Partners in Health where she addressed social determinants of health at the local, state, and federal levels. Sabrina supported community outreach, grant implementation and management, and provided technical assistance, while advocating for policy change nationwide. Previous experience includes working with the National Nurse-Led Care Consortium in Philadelphia, where Sabrina implemented an AmeriCorps Opioid Outreach and Education program as well as a SAMHSA grant program focused on Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C prevention. Concurrently, Sabrina served as a board member for The Field Center for Children’s Policy, Practice, and Research at the University of Pennsylvania. 

As a Dornsife Global Development Scholar for World Vision Senegal in their Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) sector, Sabrina supported research that examined hygiene best practices, malnutrition, food insecurity, and disease prevention.    

Sabrina holds a B.S. in Psychology from Howard University, and a master’s degree in Public Health from Drexel University.
